ABOUT MATTHEW
Matthew Oberg is the founder of 1 Day at a Time LLC, a program development and communication-systems initiative focused on helping schools, autism centers, behavioral health programs, and support organizations create practical workflows, documentation systems, family communication processes, and student/client progress-tracking tools.
Matthew’s professional background includes program development, behavioral health operations, business development, clinical partnerships, referral-network growth, and multidisciplinary program support. During his time with Core Recovery, he played an active role in supporting the development and expansion of behavioral health services, including the launch of new treatment locations, community outreach initiatives, referral partnerships, operational workflows, and systems designed to improve organizational growth and patient engagement.
He later served as Director of Clinical Partnerships with Embark Behavioral Health, where he supported market development and strategic partnerships across the western United States. In this role, he worked closely with hospitals, behavioral health providers, treatment programs, and community partners to increase awareness of Embark’s services, strengthen referral relationships, and support access to care across multiple locations.
Matthew currently works in Hanoi, Vietnam, supporting Morning Star Center through program development, communication workflows, family communication systems, AAC-related support tools, and organizational systems designed to improve collaboration between staff, students, and families.
His work focuses on helping organizations build practical systems that improve communication, collaboration, operational efficiency, and long-term program sustainability.
